BIOGRAPHIE
Après avoir fait ses armes en tant que Knuckles, le Dj et producteur parisien affine son style et change de nom pour Sovnger, pseudonyme inspiré de la traduction danoise de «somnambule».
Il ne tarde pas à sortir son premier EP sur le label d’Alex Gopher : «Breathless EP» va être playlisté par les plus grands (Justice, Boys Noize, Busy P, Dj Medhi…) et va même avoir sa place dans le set des 2 Many Dj’s lors de leurs fameuses Soulwaxmas !
Bien plus qu’un simple producteur, Sovnger surprend par ses sets : subtiles mélange de scratches, de lancés de bouteilles d’eau et de vidéos prises sur le vif, le tout libéré avec une énergie sans égal !
Sovnger n’a pas fini de nous tenir éveillés !
After going through his first campaign as Knuckles, the Parisian DJ & producer improves his style and changes his name to Sovnger, a pseudonym inspired from the Danish translation of «sleep walker».
It doesn’t take him long to produce his first EP under Alex Gopher’s label : «Breathless EP» will be playlisted by the most important ones (Justice, Boys Noize, Busy P, Dada Life…) and will even have his place in the 2 Many DJ’s sets during their famous Soulwaxmas! Sovnger carries on remixing (Shameboy, the Aikiu, Clash the Disko Kids, Pablo Decoder, Wazabi…) and launched his 2nd EP «Dizziness» a few months later, followed closely by his «Ultimatum EP», released on Autokratz’s label, Bad Life records, and which has already attracted the attention of some major producers such as Zombie Nation.
Much releases are coming from this eternal insomniac!
More than a simple producer, Sovnger surprises by his sets : a subtile mix of scratches, of throwing water bottles and videos taken as he mixes, all of it liberated with a matchless energy!
Sovnger hasn’t finished keeping us awaked!
